Service Description

When you come to me for supervision, we will work together, with whatever you bring, be it client work, personal issues or anything else you need at that time to help you. With over 12 years of experience, I have a vast amount of knowledge to draw on. My history of practice includes: working in a mental health drop-in centre, working with adults with severe and enduring mental illnesses, working with adults with learning difficulties, setting up and working for a generic counselling service, and also setting up my own private practice. I have a diploma in supervision and I have experience with but not limited to the following issues: Rape, Abuse, Trauma, Suicidal tendencies, Bi-polar, Schizophrenia, Eating disorders, Munchausen's syndrome, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, and Marriage counselling. Counselling is my passion and my calling, but I also know only too well what can happen when we get burnt out. Therefore, we need to be able to look after ourselves and avoid burnout, which is what 'helping the helper' is all about. The next step is to make contact with me, either by email using the contact form, by text or by phone. We can then discuss your needs, book an appointment and together, we can find a way forward. I am seeing clients Face to face and via Online Video Sessions, using any of the following platforms: Zoom, FaceTime or What'sApp. If you need help setting any of these up on your computers or smartphones just let me know and I can talk you through it. The good news is that this means you can access the service no matter where you live in the world. I have a number of international clients as well as those based all over the UK. One of the benefits of video session is that you do not have the inconvenience of having to travel or the need to factor in traveling time. If you live within travelling distance of East Sussex, we can easily switch to meeting face to face if that would be beneficial for you, however, I will continue to offer online video sessions for those that require them.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in the full fee being payable (But please do give as much notice as possible).
